Why consider joining us? As a small progressive congregation, we offer a distinctive Jewish alternative. Our members are committed and involved. We are truly a community that is engaging with each other, with our friends in our shared home with Emmanuel Episcopal Church, and in our broader metropolitan Boston setting. We provide an inclusive atmosphere – welcoming all to our meaningful, accessible worship, learning opportunities, and service to others. Regardless of your background, or where you are on your spiritual journey, we seek to provide everyone with a home for growth and new horizons.
We offer Sabbath Services, holiday celebrations, educational and social programs, and community service and social action projects throughout the year. Members also have full access to the pastoral services of Rabbi Berman.
Being a member is easy! You will be surprised at how welcoming we are and how you will become part of the community right away.
Support for the life and work of our congregation is derived in two ways: our annual Membership Pledges and pledges to our Annual Fund. Membership pledge categories are intentionally kept as low as possible so that we are accessible to everyone. These contributions for Membership account for half of our annual budget. The remainder of our expenses are covered by voluntary financial commitments to our Annual Fund which members make based on their ability.

Friend of CRT
Friend of Central Reform Temple is new this year! This level of support is for those who are out of state and not able to join CRT for any of our services. Benefits include the ability to join us on our national and international trips and other programs.
Pledge levels are set each year so that each member supports a fair share of the work of our congregation. We are, however, ready to work with individuals to accommodate differing financial circumstances through payment plans or sliding scale pledges. Our Treasurer will be happy to have a confidential conversation to accommodate these requests. Please contact us by phone (617-262-1202) or by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Membership Pledges and contributions to the Annual Fund may be funded as follows:
By check: Send your check payable to Central Reform Temple to 15 Newbury Street, Boston MA 02116.
By credit card: at the Temple website, www.centralreformtemple.org
With a PayPal account: Using the link on our website homepage to the PayPal Giving Fund (which eliminates the usual credit card fees). Please send an email to email@example.com advising us of the details of your donation.
