A New Series – “Torah Through The Arts:” Spiritual and Ethical Themes in Boston’s Arts Scene Continuing CRT’s established tradition of seeking connections between our Jewish values and the Arts; we have planned a year-long series of programs linked to current theatre, film, and museum events.
December 13 – Chanukah at the MFA
The MFA Annual community celebration with Rabbi Berman begins at 5:00 pm. Join us there.
January 7 – Sunday at 2 pm, Museum of Russian History, Migration + Memory: Jewish Artists of the Russian and Soviet Empires from the Vladimir & Vera Torhilin Collection (Clinton, MA). Join Rabbi Berman and fellow temple members to tour this interesting exhibit. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will coordinate traveling there.
January 13 – Saturday at 5 pm Movie Night, The Next Voice You Hear. 1951 Classic with James Whitmore and Nancy Davis (Reagan) – a reflection of the Post War religious revival in America, and the fears of the Cold War. Event will take place at the Screening room at Millennium Towers. Pizza or Pot Luck to be determined. RSVP required by emailing email@example.com.
February 7 – Wednesday at 6 pm MFA Tour of selections by Rabbi Berman. Rabbi Berman will provide a tour of various selections at the MFA discussing the Jewish connections. March 11 – Sunday at 2 pm performance of The White Card, Emerson Cutler Majestic Theater. This is a new play on the state of racial conflict in America. For more information and to purchase tickets go to https://artsemerson.org/. Sunday at 2pm followed by a discussion over coffee or dinner.
