Central Reform Temple offers a broad variety of creative religious, educational, social and community service activities. We respond to the many different interests and needs of our congregation and community. Most of these events are free and open to the public. Check back often for updates!
We will be watching and discussing My Grandfather’s People (2011) during our next meeting. The movie addresses the 1923 forced migration of people from Cyprus to Turkey. We have an opportunity to learn from our Turkish sisters about their family histories. A reminder not to bring food, since this meeting will be held during Ramadan when fasting occurs until sunset. We welcome new and old participants. Please rsvp to Jennifer Coplon at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-424-6733.
Our monthly Torah Study group continues its meetings with Rabbi Devon Lerner. All are welcome to as we discuss text from the Torah and how their messages relate to our lives today. Our Adult B’nei Mitzvah Class joins in these gatherings, to which all members and guests are always welcome – No prior attendance is necessary! If you sign up to be on the list in advance, Rabbi Lerner will forward details and suggested readings for each session:
